Project Background

The client requested a video with animated buildings for use on their social media. The focus of this video was the animation of the buildings, rather than the realism of the render, as that was what the customer cared about the most. To begin, the residence plans and models were obtained from the customer in order to create the animations. Once the buildings were acquired, various changes were made to both the buildings and the site plan. This included optimizing the topology of the buildings and the file itself. After the entire animation project was planned, it became a part of the pre-production phase. Different programs and workflows, such as Houdini, Cinema4D, and Redshift for rendering, were utilized to create the construction phase.
